Community Partners

Community Food Bank of New Jersey
Located in Hillside, NJ, Toni’s Kitchen is a participating member and receives monthly allotments of meat and other food products.

Community Food Programs
When we have an excess of bread, fresh greens, and other food products, we share this excess with other food programs serving individuals in need, such as Outpost in the Burb. Representatives from this organization- which is dedicated to enriching individual and community life- routinely pick up surplus bread and produce to distribute to their affiliated soup kitchen in East Orange.

Health Department, Township of Montclair
Monthly blood pressure screenings are provided by the Public Health Nursing Department.

Montclair CARES
Representatives from Toni’s Kitchen continue to participate in this multi-disciplinary group comprised of various agencies providing health and social services to residents of Montclair.

Montclair Emergency Services for the Homeless (MESH)
Representatives from Toni’s Kitchen work with other human service organizations whose mission is to work with the homeless in Montclair to improve their quality of life and reduce the risks associated with their living situations.

Mountainside Hospital Community Health Program
Representatives from the Community Health program provide free blood glucose screenings on a monthly basis. Additional services include quarterly pharmacy “brown bag” sessions in which guests are given opportunities to discuss their medications with pharmacy professionals.

Mountainside Hospital Foundation
A representative from Toni’s Kitchen regularly attends the Foundation meetings to obtain information on how are guests can access hospital services.

United Way of North Essex
Provides numerous programs that promote well being and self sufficiency for families and individuals. The United Way works with us to allow us to extend our ability to provide further services that fufill the needs of our community.
